Asus expect competition in the market for gaming monitors 2017 is quite serious in the next 12 months. The interest of consumers to such devices continues to be enhanced and this trend will continue in 2017. From the company expects the global market for monitors to be sold by 5-10% more models, compared with this year. Asus are convinced that despite the competition will continue to be the largest manufacturer of gaming monitors in the industry, reported Digitimes.
To maintain its leadership position Taiwanese brand will expand its portfolio of devices branded Republic of Gamers (ROG). Gaming monitor the company sell well in Europe and North America, but demand is growing in key markets such as Asia and China. Asus have 40% market share on the European continent and hope for even better performance in 2017. Half of gaming monitors sold in the US are representative of the series ROG.
It is expected that gaming monitors 2017 represent 10% of sales of monitors Asus next year. Asus has developed a new device that will have a refresh rate of 240Hz frame and will support NVIDIA G-Sync technology. Main Highlights in this segment will be curved displays, higher resolution and refresh rate of staff. Leading manufacturers will attract consumers’ attention and additional software features to distinguish their monitors than competing products on the market.
