GnuPG is a tool for encrypting files and emails. It allows you to encrypt data and to sign documents with digital signatures, potentially using efficient technology to guarantee consumer safety. Although GnuPG is a client command line there are dozens of programs that use it as a medium for encryption, such as Claws Mail and Kleopatra.
