Intel plans to produce its next-generation new series Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors in the fall of 2017. These series chips will become heirs to the Broadwell-E range, which are now available to consumers at a price 468 and 1,780. The next generation of processors will likely be shown for the first time gamer fair Gamescom 2017 in Germany, which will be held in August, reports Digitimes.
WHAT ARE THE NEW SERIES SKYLAKE-X AND KABY LAKE-X PROCESSORS?
The tech giant plans to be very active at the exhibition CES 2017. During the show, we will see the next generation Kaby Lake chips high-end Intel. The company will begin shipping the new Kaby Lake-S series, including the Core i7-7700K More to the end of the year. According to unconfirmed information, Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X series will be based on LGA 2066 socket and will include support for DDR4 RAM.
In January we will see the new Core i7-7700K / 7700 Core i5-7600K / 7600/7500, Core i3-7320 / 7300/7100 , Pentium G4620 / 4500/4560 and Celeron G3950 / 3930 processors. There is also the premiere of the new models with low power consumption as Core i7-7700T. The company will demonstrate for the first time Intel Z270 and H270 chipset at CES 2017, which will be used by most manufacturers next year.
