Similar technology could put an end to the tedious waiting in long queues in front of cash registers.
The system is already being used in one of the chain stores Lawson, which is located near the company’s office in Osaka, Japan. From the Panasonic started talks with a number of partners to accelerate its penetration into many other retailers worldwide.
