At its international press conference in New York, Acer presented revised versions of the Acer Swift 1 and Swift 3 notebooks. The Swift 3 is now available with 14 or 15.6-inch large display and optional Nvidia graphics. The Swift 1 offers the company an aluminum case, among other things.
Acer announces new additions to its successful Swift series. The mid-size Swift 3 notebook will soon be available with both a 14-inch display and a 15.6-inch screen. Both displays offer Full HD resolution as well as a high-angle IPS panel.

Regardless of the desired display diagonals, both notebooks offer Intel Core i processors of the current seventh generation and eight gigabytes of RAM. The more compact, 1.8 kilograms heavy and 16.95-millimeter thick 14-inch version can be equipped with up to 512 gigabytes of SSD capacity.

For the larger 15.6 inch, space is sufficient for an additional 1 terabyte HDD. Both versions should allow a long battery life of up to ten hours. Also interesting is the HD webcam with HDR + support as well as the fingerprint scanner usable for Windows Hello. Data is transferred via the USB 3.1 Type C connector.

Also, the cheaper and smaller Swift 1 comes in the unibody housing of aluminum and with fingerprint scanner into the house. It weighs 1.3 kilograms and is nearly 15 millimeters thick.
